From the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road to future-oriented technology: A millennium-spanning journey of exploration
Step into Skydroid at Quanzhou Zhichuang Park and experience the power of technological innovation behind unmanned systems.
Setting off for future exploration from the Maritime Silk Road origin
Quanzhou is a city born out of “connections”.
Thousands of years of ago, the Maritime Silk Road set sail from here. Frequent merchant-ship traffic turned Quanzhou into a vital hub for cultural, trade and technological exchanges between the East and the West, bearing witness to profound ties between China and the rest of the world.
Today, as times advance, the forms of “connection”keep evolving.
From maritime shipping lanes to digital networks, from traditional operations to unmanned solutions, technological innovation is broadening humanity’s bonds with the world in brand-new ways, and driving cities to explore new paths of development.

On this land that once linked the world, new innovative forces keep thriving.
On August 15th, participants of the “Laiqu Study-Tour”Youth League Summer Camp and the 7th “Maritime Silk Road · Chinese Dream” Summer Camp visited Skydroid at Quanzhou Zhichuang Park. Through a series of tech-oriented experiences, they explored the innovative capabilities behind unmanned systems and embarked on a journey bridging history and the future.
From Maritime Silk Road Culture to Unmanned Technology
Different forms of connection nurtured on the same land
Quanzhou's development has always been accompanied by exploration and innovation.
In the past, people ventured into distant lands by sea navigation; today, humans explore the unknown through technology.
Unmanned systems stand as a key embodiment of how modern technology extends the ways we connect.
They enable equipment to break spatial boundaries and deliver value across numerous sectors including inspection, logistics, agriculture and emergency response.
Rooted in Quanzhou, Skydroid is tech enterprise that grown within this innovative ecosystem.
Over the past decade, Skydroid has focused on R&D for unmanned-system technologies. It explores how to connect devices and application scenarios via technology, and promotes the adoption of unmanned equipment in an ever-wider range of fields.
From the shipping routes that linked the world in the Maritime Silk Road era, to today's unmanned-technology-powered connections between humans and devices, and between devices and environments, “connection”has always remained the underlying driving force behind this city's continuous development.

A look inside Skydroid Technology
Discover the logic of innovation behind the technology through hands-on experience
At Skydroid, summer-camp students got up-close exposure to the technical appeal of Skydroid’s unmanned-system expertise via a DIY wooden drone assembly activity.
From putting together individual components to seeing the drone model take shape, students gained insight into product structures while grasping the innovation logic embedded in product design.
The birth of an unmanned device is far more than a simple assembly of parts. It stems from the combined efforts of structural design, technological R&D and system coordination.
Through this experience, the students learned that:
To deliver a scientific and technological achievement, one must start from an idea, go through repeated design, verification and optimization, before it can finally be put into real-world applications.
Technology is not remote. It lies hidden within every round of exploration and practice.

Bring Technology out of the Laboratory
Cultivating seeds for future innovation
Technological innovation calls for not only technological breakthroughs, but also participation of more young talents.
As a technology enterprise specializing in unmanned-system solutions, Skydroid hopes to bring teenagers closer to real-world technology scenarios and help them understand the innovation logic behind unmanned equipment through open-house visits, technical exchanges and hands-on practical experiences.
A single experience may only mark the beginning of exploration. Yet every exposure to technology has the potential to plant a seed of exploration and innovation in children’s minds.
Going forward, Skydroid will keep promoting technological openness and exchanges, enabling more teenagers to appreciate the charm of technology, learn about industry development trends, and create more possibilities for the growth of future-oriented tech talents.

Starting with exploration, Marching toward the future
Bridging the past and the future, exploring the boundless possibilities of technology
A thousand years ago, Quanzhou connected the world via the Maritime Silk Road.
Today, technological innovation is stretching the boundaries of connection in brand-new ways.
Moving ahead, Skydroid will keep its roots deep in the R&D of unmanned-system technologies, boost more technical exchanges and innovative explorations, and enable technology to unlock ever-greater possibilities.
